If you haven’t already seen it, hope you enjoyed it as much as I did. Uncle Drew turns out to be Kyle Irving, the NBA’s Rookie of the Year, and when he works out his “rust”, Uncle Drew proves to be more capable than anyone originally thought was possible.
What I’m curious about is how the camera crew got there and kept filming without getting much attention to themselves. I imagine they must’ve had some sort of a cover story (perhaps they gave free pops and “wanted to film the game”). This worked out quite well, anyhow, and credit to Kyle Irving for sticking with and acting like a believable, old man (at least initially).
